My forthcoming book tells the story of my involvement in supporting an empirical research effort based on the stunning story of Adam and Eve as told in the UB, beginning with Paper 73. Research carried out over several years demonstrated that a heretofore unknown civilization may have existed on now-sunken land in the Eastern Mediterranean—just where the UB said it would be.
Probes sent one mile down off the East coast of the Island of Cyprus in 2003 and 2005—as well as oil exploration research of the ocean bottom—revealed that this sunken land once bridged Cyprus to present-day Syria. The two expeditions to this site—one of which was funded by the History Channel—returned evidence of man-made structures on this surface, a discovery that was hailed worldwide, and innumerable correlations with Plato’s description of ancient Atlantis have also been noted about this location. This sunken land, according to The Urantia Book, was the actual site of the Garden of Eden of biblical fame—although some would also call this Atlantis. We preferred also to call it Atlantis in our work, or “Eden/Atlantis.” Here dwelled Adam and Eve, biological uplifters sent to earth by higher beings 37,000 years ago to populate the planet with a new race that would up-step the genetic pool of all humankind. Even in failure, these two came to exemplify the highest ideal of one crucial aspect of the grand universe romance—that between man and woman.
After building an advanced civilization on Cyprus, the pair and their hundreds of pure-line children fled to the area around the Tigris and Euphrates after barbarian tribes overran the island of Cyprus—and this was the result of the default of Adam and Eve. This new location, known as the Second Garden, thereupon became the locus of the most advanced ancient civilization and genetic pool the world has ever known. For the next 30,000 years, the “Adamic” progeny migrated to Egypt, India, Europe, and eventually the entire world, blending with the indigenous races of our planet and up-stepping each one with superior DNA.
